Pat Cash Tennis Academy
Harlequin Hotels & Resorts is thrilled to be working with the Pat Cash Tennis Academy and have signed contracts to bring the Academy to all of our resorts.
Pat Cash is best known as the flamboyant winner of Wimbledon in 1987. Born in Australia, Pat started playing tennis aged 8 and through perseverance became the best player in Australia by the time he reached 14. He retired from playing tennis professionally in 1997 and since then has resided mainly in the UK, coaching top players like Greg Rusedski and Mark Philippoussis. He also regularly works as a TV commentator and presenter as well as heading up the prestigious worldwide Pat Cash Tennis Academy.
The Pat Cash Tennis Academy programme has been designed with two key elements in mind. These two elements are a solid foundation and a clear and achievable vision.
The Academy’s mission statement is:
“To create an environment where everyone will be given the opportunity to maximise their potential, both as individuals and athletes.”
The Pat Cash Tennis Academy is open to everyone - no matter what standard or age. Whether you want to be the best in the world, or just would like to learn to play tennis while you are on holiday - the Academy will have something designed specifically for you.
Pat Cash Tennis Academies at Harlequin Resorts will provide individual and group lessons and will offer a selection of tailor made coaching packages, all of which include professional tuition and DVD video analysis. Academies will host pro-celebrity tournaments throughout the year and Pat Cash will also hold coaching clinics and play in exhibition matches.
Pat Cash Tennis Acadamies at Harlequin Resorts will provide an environment where everyone will be given the opportunity to play tennis to the best of their ability and have great fun at the same time.
